Visual Studio Code is now available for Linux as an Ubuntu Snap
One of the major reasons why Windows users don’t tend switch to Linux was because of Visual Studio. That’s about to change. Microsoft's popular integrated code editor will now work seamlessly on the Windows OS.
Microsoft has released theVisual Studio Code version for Linux users which is another good news for them after the recent release of Linux Lite 4.4. It will be offered as an Ubuntu Snap which is a form of containerised package capable of working on any Linux environment, on-device, on-premise or on the cloud. Ubuntu snaps can be automatically updated and they are extremely secure.
